If I am reading it correctly, Ledger obituary indicates that contributions could be made to the charity of your choice.

Joan, so very sorry for your loss, we loved Bernie, he is a true gentleman and a truly good soul. May his spirit live forever. Peace and prayers to your family.
Thank you. Please don't feel the need to make a donation but if you would like to do so select whatever organization or cause is most meaningful to you. That is what Bernie would have wanted. There are so many valuable efforts being made for so many causes that it is truly impossible to select just one.
Turning in for the night. We will be sitting here tomorrow until 1 pm. Please stop by if you would like. I am looking forward to seeing whoever wants to come to Holle's tomorrow between 3 pm and 6 pm. Quite a few persons have asked me the time of the VFW ceremony tomorrow. It will be held at approximately 4 pm and will be followed by a flag ceremony.
