Stormy Sues Trump

very few here take him at his word. But what do you suggest - that we simply ignore what he says?

But he changes his "decisions" constantly and on a whim.

Yet there are people on MOL who take him at his word. Go figure.

How does pointing out that some one is taking him at his word 'suggest - that we simply ignore what he says?.' I would think it calls for refutation.

I said that I had read that the Dems were were holding up appointing people to the extent that at that rate it would take 11years to complete the appointments. Dave Schmidt soon after posted an article that spelled out in detail how that was happening and verified what I had said.

If you have a problem with that, take it up with him

That doesn't apply to the SK ambassador or the State Dept, which is what we were talking about.

Nice try at changing the subject. We are now discussing 'Yet there are people on MOL who take him at his word. Go figure'..

And that applies to you and your comment about taking him at his word. Would you like to go around on that again?

He is an excellent con artist. That is why people continue to take him at his word.

When he says in a public meeting broadcast on TV that he favors raising the age to buy certain weapons from 18 to 21 and laughs at Manchin and Toomey for not including that in their bill because "you are afraid of the NRA" even I was surprised at his almost immediate reversal.

If tomorrow he re-hires Tillerson as Secretary of State who wouldn't be surprised?

Back on topic.  All Hell will break lose if Stormy Daniels criticizes Trump's personal performance.  Kim Jong-un had better duck 'n cover if that happens.

Stormy: Nothing freaky. Like, “Oh yeah, that feels good. That’s amazing.” You know. It was one position, what you would expect someone his age to do. It wasn’t bad. Don’t get me wrong.

Well, that's a relief.

They are the people who responded, some more than once, to my comment about people who 'take Trump at his word', meaning you.

Want to deny saying it or do we stop here?

Can we at least all agree that at least one person on MOL was "taking Trump at his word" by starting the now closed "Who Colluded More" thread?

I hope you aren't suggesting that Trump lies. Or that he "talks out of both sides of his mouth."

Firstly, I apologize to everyone else. Just skip this post.

Secondly, dave23 said "No cart, no horse. Just going based on what Trump said, which was that no country should be exempted."

BCC said "You will excuse me if I find it hard to believe you take Trump at his word. I doubt there are very many on MOL who do."

Then dave23 said "No, I don't take Trump at word. I was simply posting about his monumentally stupid idea."

Thirdly, that was TEN DAYS AGO on a DIFFERENT THREAD. We have literally gone through two massive Nor'Easters since those three comments were made. Power has been lost, trees blown down, power has been restored, then lost again and more trees torn from their very roots in the time between those three statements and now.

And yet here, without any input from dave23, you are still saying that dave23 said it, derailing a discussion about US/North Korean relations with it, and whenever dave23 tries to put it on track you pull out your old faithful "what we are discussing" post.

I love ya, BCC. No one can grab a ball of fuckall and run a marathon with it like you.

Yeah and I love you right back, only it would help if you got your facts straight, especially on the main issue.

You can read what I wrote about Trump and taking him at his word on the Rose Garden thread at:

March 2,2018 at 1:03 PM

March 5, 2018 at 8:53 AM and 1151 PM

Or you can read the entire exchange which is there, especially the part where I write you can't depend on what Trump says, he can change his mind tomorrow.

I apologize for taking even this limited time but some comments have to be addressed.

Following this dispute is much better than reading about the President and the porn star.

Let’s put it this way:

No they don't. You did not address any comments for months and you survived as did MOL.

OTOH I do understand the compulsion to respond. I have repeatedly fallen into that trap with respect to mtierney.

8 of the top 9 posts at the State Dept are currently empty. I read somewhere that I'm supposed to believe that this is the fault of Democrats.

I thought you knew that where no nominations are made there is no hearing to seat a phantom.

OTOH where the Democrats are concerned actual nominations are slow walked so that it is estimated that it will take 11years to fill slots for which there is a nomination. GOP did similar thing when in minority.

An article was published which explained how it is done.

Perhaps you should check your reading comprehension.

Darn, I did know that!

Meanwhile, back to the actual thread.

If you would like to help Stormy sue Trump, you can donate to her legal campaign here:

This is a bridge way too far for me.  I'm happy for every little twist in the wind suffered by Mr. T but Stormy is not one of the Scottsboro Boys or a tornado victim.   She should be raising money by selling shares in her book or movie deal or whatever big financial score motivates her leak, not begging.

Fair enough. I guess I’m just not the kind of person who thinks they can tell women, even ex-porn stars, how they should make their money.

I have no interest in telling her how to make her money and no interest in her taking my money.
