Political observers said the February announcement that Feinstein would retire next year, and now the rookie mistake of putting a campaign in the hands of an estate, could hurt her chances.

A Babylon Bee editor, meanwhile, issued a public apology for “in the wake of.” Then he repeated it.

It's satire. I got a chuckle out of it without needing to analyze the backstory.

Yeah, I know. I got a chuckle out of it for other reasons.

Hear me out here as a Brit.

Sometimes satire written by people who are willfully ignorant isn't actually funny.

I mean I understand these Babylotion Bee guys get paid and there are deadlines, and that right wing humor is really based on "punching down" and also the less about a subject your audience knows the better, or maybe they're paid $40 a post, but every time I read an article of theirs, it's just Reductress penis envy.

What makes it funny, in my opinion, is that dead people have been elected on several occasions.
