Hey Lanky - Were you able to take the test? I tried logging on last night and the night before, and both times I was told I tried to log on too late to take the test, even though it was well before the 'start time'....
I was able Tuesday at 8 PM. In fact, I was prepared (and rushed home amid horrible snow traffic) 3 hours early at 5 PM for my test since I didn't realize I had selected PST when I registered. So I waited another 3 hours and it kicked off fine.
Not sure how I did, there were maybe 3 I just didn't know and left blank and another 5 I made reasonable guesses for. I also answered about half in the form of a question, the others I did not - so per my query above, not sure if that matters. I'll let you know what I hear back.
Sorry it didn't work for you - they certainly don't make it easy to be a contestant and their website with respect to testing / logging in needs an overhaul to be more intuitive. Stinks that you have to wait another year to try again...
Your test results have been given to the Jeopardy! Team for evaluation and scoring. So what happens now?
Some things to keep in mind:
You will not receive your score. Only those who passed the test will qualify for an invitation to the auditions.
Depending on the number of available appointments, a random selection process may be implemented.
Audition invitations will be offered until all available appointments are filled and confirmed. If you're selected for an audition, you'll be notified up to six weeks in advance of your appointment. You'll receive all details at that time.
i passed the online test twice, and went to the auditions in nyc. took the written test there and moved on to the next step - the mock game - but never got the call to go to CA. biggest disappointment of my life.

Ben was definitely robbed. Mayim's hesitancy with the answers drives me nuts.
loved Jeopardy Masters -- i could watch it every night -- though they must all be exhausted. you cannot dispute James' mastery of the game and his knowledge and he is fun to watch -- but i loved that Mattea made a good show for it! i did like Sam a lot but he buzzed in with too many wrong answers.

It is odd - I always find that her longest hesitations are usually after the daily doubles responses. But I don't dislike as much as others on the board.

She's overly happy and laughs too much. It's like she's programmed and doesn't actually listen. Why is it funny when someone finds a Daily Double? Her delays are because she doesn't know the answers and has to look to the judges every time. I find her un-watchable. Bring on Ken. I really shouldn't be a hater!
Manet was older Dileri from Maplewood should have won. She only said one name. Jennings said both names needed to be in the answer. But the clue did say "the elder" of these 2 men. I'm sure there's controversy about this answer - will check in a few.

The article said it boiled down to high turnover in production and writing staff. It makes you realize how smoothly the show went for all those years under Trebek.
